School Canteen Advertisement

Jurong Secondary School has immediate vacancies for canteen stall. We are inviting interested applicants to operate a Western Food (Halal) Stall at our school canteen located at 31 Yuan Ching Road, Singapore 618652.

1) Requirements

Interested applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

1. Stall holder and assistant should be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.

2. Have some experience in operating a food stall and/or catering experience.

3. Possess Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

4. Be healthy and fit.

5. Be able to provide good service and quality food at reasonable price in consultation with the school.

6. Provide cooked food that meets the health / nutritional standards set by the Health Promotion Board (HPB) under the "Healthy Meals in School Programme (HMSP)" guidelines (see link).

7. Able to maintain a high standard of food and personal hygiene.

2) Application Procedure

Download and complete the application form. You may also request for a hardcopy from the School’s General Office.

1. Application form

2. One photocopy of the NRIC (front and back)

3. Proposed daily menu and price list and

4. Photocopy of relevant certificates such as Basic Food Hygiene Course and previous NEA licence if any

5. Submit the completed application form and documents by closing date via email OR to the School’s General Office.

How to get to Jurong Secondary School?

• Nearest MRT: Lakeside MRT (EW26 line) – 26 minutes walking distance

• Alight at Lakeside Station. Take bus service 98 or take bus service 154, 240 or 246 from the bus stop opposite the MRT station.

Shortlisted applicants will be notified for an interview and will be required to provide food sampling for the School Canteen Selection Committee at the applicant’s own expense
